Keith Asack is currently the Dialogue Director at Insomniac Games. A typical day can vary from supervising sessions, reading over sides, casting, talking to agents, working with writers, directing talent, scheduling, creating dialogue tech or listening to hundreds of auditions.

Keith graduated from Berklee College of Music and began his career working with singers as a coach and songwriter. Very soon after he was approached to work on the dialogue for Bioshock Infinite, editing and recording thousands of lines. His passion for dialogue in video games and his past titles include: Bioshock: Infinite, The Magic Circle, Medal of Honor, Spiderman: Miles Morales, Ratchet and Clank, Marvel's Spiderman 2 as well as thousands of songs and some movies.

Keith has made it a key goal of his to cast the very best voices from as diverse an audition pool as possible. He firmly believes that underrepresented voices hold the talent of tomorrow and casting/voice directors must work harder to ensure a fair audition process for all.

Paula Gammon Wilson is known for her excellence with managing multinational production teams due to her nearly 30 years of production experience with companies and clients in North America, Asia, Europe, and South America.

Paula is a graduate of Walnut Hill School for the Arts (Design and Production); Pomona College (Theater Production and Movement Studies), the Alvin Ailey School Professional Division (Independent Study); and the New School for Social Research (Screenwriting and 3rd World Cinema). In 2001, she began working as a union production manager and stage manager in New York, and for regional and touring shows, while also dancing professionally. In 2004, she began working as a voice over artist. She subsequently left the US, and worked for the next several years as a voice over artist, while also directing musicals and performing in South Korea, Argentina, Italy, the UK, and Dubai. She returned to the US in 2011, and began directing and production managing voice over for cartoon series and pilots, commercials, promos, and educational projects, as well as writing copy for commercials and adapting scripts for animation. She opened Pepsqually VO and Sound Design in the spring of 2014.

She has since grown the company from one animated series, one engineer, and seven cast members to employing three engineers, seven writers, and 100+ actors across several projects. As of 2024, projects for which Pepsqually has provided voice over performance direction, casting, and/or sound design have received two Kidscreen Awards (among three nominations), one NAACP Image Award nomination, and eleven Parents' Choice Awards. The streaming/digital-first animated projects for which Pepsqually has provided voice over direction, casting, and/or sound design, have collectively amassed just over 1 billion views on YouTube alone.

In 2020, Paula opened a companion company in Lisbon, Portugal. Pepsqually Portugal, LDA is dedicated to the incubation and production of children's media by and for minority/marginalized populations. There are currently nine shows in the studio’s development pipeline.

In addition to casting, directing, and project managing all Pepsqually projects, Paula Gammon Wilson also serves as a freelance voice over performance director, project manager, casting director, and writer for several other production companies in the US and Europe.

Brittany Lauda (any/all pronouns) has directed, cast, and produced various anime, live action "tokusatsu" and game titles since graduating from SUNY Geneseo in 2014, and wouldn’t want it any other way! Audu Paden is a Peabody, Gemini, and Emmy Award-winning director/producer with over twenty-five years of experience managing creative and production challenges for television series and feature length animated projects.

Dawn Hershey came to Los Angeles in 1995 and started working at Nickelodeon Animation Studios. There, she worked her way up through the ranks from Receptionist to Casting Assistant, Casting Coordinator, Casting Supervisor, and finally Casting Director. Dawn joined the Casting Society of America (CSA) in 1999 and has been a full time Casting Director ever since. From Nickelodeon, she moved on to Icebox.com in 2000 where she was hired as the Executive Director of Casting to cast and record over 50 animated shorts for the internet. After the dotcom bubble burst, Dawn jumped with 3 Icebox associates to co-found Blindlight in 2001 (a production services company for the video game industry) and she oversaw all of the voice-over production there for 7 years. Casting voices for video games allowed her to create, develop, and hone amazing organizational systems for casting large quantities of characters in short amounts of time. While holding down full time jobs at each of these companies, Dawn continued to build her freelance career. Barry Shapiro is Owner of Herman & Lipson Casting. He has been with Herman & Lipson for over 39 years casting over 8000 commercials both voiceover and on camera for such products as Loreal, ESPN, Advil, Verizon, Toys R Us, and many other top accounts. He casts for commercials all around the world and also casts for film, television, and theatre. Recently he cast for the play Facespace which was performed at the Midtown International Theatre Festival. He has also worked on casting for several Off-Broadway plays and musicals. Anthony Rodriguez is an actor and director who has worked on various video games, television series, movies, and animations. Early on in his life, he was in many choirs and theatrical productions so performance has also been something close to his heart. After high school, Anthony went to the University of Florida where he obtained a Bachelor's of Arts in Music for voice. After his time at UF, he spent two and a half years in Japan teaching English as well as performing live at various events in Kameoka, Kyoto. One of his most recent notable works is "Warrior King," a Chinese animated film that was released in theaters earlier this year. On the production, he did script adaptation, assistant casting, and assistant directing. Currently, he is a director with Marvelous Spiral Studios and Network Nexus Studios. Anthony also teaches actors ADR privately and many of his students have gone on to book dubbing gigs after taking sessions with him. Besides acting and directing, his other interests include playing video games, opera, herbal medicine, ancient culture and religion, and cats.

He has cast animated and live-action series and movies for companies such as Netflix, Discovery Kids, and SONY and commercial projects for known brands including Spotify, Oculus, Target, Calvin Klein, Geico, Kraft, Coca Cola, and many more. His handiwork can be seen on just about any network, cable channel, and all over the Internet. 

As a voice director, he’s directed shows for major companies including Netflix and SONY. Most recently he’s voice directed, “Too Hot To Handle – Brazil & Germany,” “19 to 20,” “The Forest,” “Insiders,” “11M - Terror in Madrid,” and “Dogs” all of which can be seen now on Netflix; and the animated series’ “Gal and Dino” and “Scar on the Praeter” now airing on Crunchyroll, Roku, and Apple TV.  

As an award-winning producer, his recent documentary “The Animal People,” executive produced by Joaquin Phoenix, quickly became one of iTunes top 10 most watched docs.   

With a teaching resume that boasts three of the Hollywood Reporter’s top rated college acting programs, Andy has served as a faculty member at New York University’s Tisch School and has been a guest teacher/speaker at many highly regarded acting programs including Rutgers, Syracuse University, Terry Knickerbocker Studio & William Esper Studio.

Ned Lott is a prolific Voice-Over Director, Casting Director, & Producer and he specializes in feature animation - though he also cast Liam Neeson as the voice of Aslan for The Chronicles of Narnia and worked on the international casting of ADR voices in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

He has worked with Disney, Pixar, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, and Square Enix, along with international studios from South Africa, Russia, France, Peru, Mexico, Japan, and China. He was a producer and casting director on eight Studio Ghibli titles, including Hayao Miyazaki’s Oscar™ nominated theatrical release of Howl’s Moving Castle. Krystle Oppenheimer is an award winning producer at Buddha Jones in Hollywood.

After graduating from USC Film School, Krystle began her career in entertainment marketing with Buddha Jones in 2006. Since then, she has helped shape campaigns on a wide variety of different projects, including Onward, Promising Young Women, Dunkirk, Ralph Breaks The Internet, Oceans 8, Wonder Woman, Moana, Suicide Squad and The Muppets. Krystle has won several awards for her work, including three Key Art awards for Best Overall Campaign.

He is a graduate of Ohio State University, and subsequently received his MFA in Film and TV from Chapman University in California. Michael Schwalbe is a lot of things: Voice actor. Singer. Director. Writer. Often called the "vocal chameleon," less-often called the "Themperor." He has performed as many as 60+ roles for a single game more than once, and can be heard in over a dozen AAA video games (well over a hundred games and anime in total), in addition to numerous commercial and corporate campaigns for clients like Toyota, McDonalds, Staples, and many, many more.

Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Music Business from Belmont University, Michael then spent several years working at a division of Warner Music Nashville while continuing his vocal pursuits. Eventually, his talents started opening up doors at Warner, culminating in voicing Blake Shelton's 2013 CMA promotional campaign, directly leading to the start of his voiceover and voice-casting business What He Said Voiceovers, LLC.

Eleven years later, Michael has won a SOVAS award for Outstanding National Commercial Voiceover, directed many hundreds of hours of sessions, and acted in many more. He is represented nationally by AVO Talent. He loves gaming and hiking with his wife Courtney, an accomplished vocal teacher and opera singer herself, curating his multiple collections of interesting doodads, and basking in playlists of the world's most eclectic music.

Carli Silver is the CCO of Sound and Fury, specializing in client relations and team management for the nation’s leading voiceover commercial casting house. Krizia Bajos is an actor, coach, and voice director for video games for titles such as indie darling WyldeFlowers, the Call of Duty franchise, Amazon’s New World, WB Multiverse, and the rest under NDA. 

She’s worked for decades in the industry in front of the camera on television, film and commercials and has been working steadily as a voice actor for the past 12 years. She’s currently the voice of Ross department stores, recurring on The Loud House and Casagrandes as Margarita, a series regular on Netflix’s Boss Baby and video games with the most notable being a Sim in Sims4, Jara in Star Trek Resurgence, and many more. 

All that experience has given her a valuable perspective as a voice director and she’s quickly found a new passion in this realm. Her approach to directing is similar to how she approaches acting, coming at the story and dialogue in an imaginative space and bringing as much specificity to the actions surrounding the written words as possible. Lisa Fischoff is co-founder and co-owner of one of the busiest voice over casting offices in NYC, Broadcasters LLC. She began her commercial casting career at Liz Lewis Casting Partners in the late 90’s. After several years as a casting director at LLCP, she left in 2005 with another alum of LLCP, Stacy Seidel Tea, to open Broadcasters. Fifteen years later, they have garnered a reputation for being one of the best casting offices to audition for in NYC.

Broadcasters also casts out of Los Angeles for both celebrity and scale voice over projects. She also casts for on camera commercials, hosts, print and industrial projects. Lisa has tremendous knowledge with regard to commercial talent here in NYC and loves meeting new talent. Broadcasters is always looking for new talent in both the Union and Non-Union pool of actors in New York and Los Angeles. Jodi Gottlieb’s roots are in the New York theatre where she honed her directing skills. A change of career path brought her to the world of advertising where she was pleased to discover her natural abilities were marketable. She soon became an award-winning VP of Production (Campbell's Soup, Bristol-Meyers, 3M, Hills Bros. Coffee, and many more). Moving to LA as a Senior Broadcast Producer, she was invited to CBS for a three-week assignment as a Writer/Producer and stayed for ten years. As an independent contractor, she has written and produced award-winning promos for CBS, ABC, NBC, Showtime, HBO, TBS, USA and many others. She is the co-author of the industry book, “TV: Sex, Lies & Promos.” Jodi executive produced and directed the YouTube Series, “BlindDateMe.” She has also directed movie trailers and in-show narrations. Dawn Hershey came to Los Angeles in 1995 and started working at Nickelodeon Animation Studios. There, she worked her way up through the ranks from Receptionist to Casting Assistant, Casting Coordinator, Casting Supervisor, and finally Casting Director. Dawn joined the Casting Society of America (CSA) in 1999 and has been a full time Casting Director ever since. From Nickelodeon, she moved on to Icebox.com in 2000 where she was hired as the Executive Director of Casting to cast and record over 50 animated shorts for the internet. After the dotcom bubble burst, Dawn jumped with 3 Icebox associates to co-found Blindlight in 2001 (a production services company for the video game industry) and she oversaw all of the voice-over production there for 7 years. Casting voices for video games allowed her to create, develop, and hone amazing organizational systems for casting large quantities of characters in short amounts of time. While holding down full time jobs at each of these companies, Dawn continued to build her freelance career. Renée Johnson is the Creative Director of Disney Character Voices at The Walt Disney Company.

She has been a voice director and dialogue writer/editor with Disney Character Voices since 2002. She’s been the lead dialogue editor and one of the key VO directors on the Kingdom Hearts series of games, as well as the new Disney Dreamlight Valley. She has directed numerous other interactive titles, as well as theme park shows, ice shows, apps, toys, etc. Basically, if it’s Disney and it talks, there’s a good chance she had something to do with it.

Working with characters from Mickey Mouse and Snow White through Mirabel from Encanto, there are a lot of voices in her head—in a good way! Princesses, pirates, fish, and talking cars…she helps them all be true to themselves and their stories.

For this class, Renée will focus on a key aspect of much of her directing: voice matching. How do you recreate a voice and be authentic to a character that already exists? What is she listening for in a voice-matching audition? What are some of the tricks actors have taught her about what helps them recreate a voice?
